Luvina Beckley has been creating positive change for communities in Southern California for 26 years through her firm MHM & Associates, an organization that assists other groups in procuring grant funding for programs. Through the firm’s E3P3 platform, Luvina Beckley has successfully helped others receive funding for various community groups and initiatives.

For instance, in September 2018, Ms. Beckley was recognized for E3P3’s role in securing funding to expand the Time for Change Foundation's Positive Futures II (PFII) Project. The E3P3 program is designed to empower communities through the use of public funding, and the PFII Project is a program that rehabilitates women who are homeless through the program Time for Change, which focuses on reducing crime and other societal problems.
Funded for $2.1 million, the PFII Project is expected to assist 220 women with children over five years (44 women per year) to transition from incarceration and homelessness to self-sufficiency. The project seeks to reduce recidivism rates in this population, and it is an example of collaborative efforts between public and private agencies in addressing issues related to homelessness, re-entry, and family reunification.
This project is an extension of the first Positive Futures Project, which was established with the help of MHM & Associates in 2012. This grant focused on reducing recidivism rates, crime, mental health, and substance use problems.
